WGA WILDERNESS
GUIDE
WGA certified Wilderness Guide. Successfully completed a 300+ hours training program and assessment in Canada and The Netherlands.
WILDERNESS FIRST
RESPONDER
Certified Wilderness First Responder. Successfully completed a 90+ hours training program and assessment at NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
Experience
Active as a guide since 2018, active outdoors since I was little. Averaging 10 guiding weeks per year. Solo experience includes through hikes of the GR5, Alpine Passes Trail, Pyrenean High Route and over 30 other long distance hikes.
Courses and assessments
Experienced instructor of summer, winter and avalanche safety courses. Trainer and assessor within the Dutch IML program.
Personal leadership programs
Strong believer in human relations and personal leadership. Seasoned guide and co-facilitator of personal leadership programs.
Winter trekking on snowshoes
Experienced in guiding extended winter adventures in remote and mountainous areas.
Through-hiking
Loves hiking and guiding (very) long distances and fully adopting the rhythm of ‘hike, eat, sleep, repeat’.
Bivouac and wild camping
Prefers sleeping outside rather than inside. Tarps, hammocks, tents, cowboy camping, or primitive (snow) shelters, I’m in!
Summer trekking
Experienced in guiding multi-day adventures and day hikes in summer conditions. From hut to hut, or preferably self sufficient.
